Telkom useless response to request

Since January 2019 I have requested that an old telephone line be deleted. This was a line of my deceased wife.Notwithstanding many calls ans assurances they have not deleted this number. Of course I am still being charged monthly for an account I do not use at all. R228 for a line which their shop inEast London says does not exist.I now demand a refund.
