Telkom useless at change of account ownership

I have been trying to change ownership of my fathers telkom business account as he has passed away. I get the runaround from telkom every time I try to find out what is going on. I have sent the relevant documents to an email address that they provided and it doesn't even have an automatic email reply system, No reference number.. nothing. Telkom is seriously terrible at these things.
