Telkom useless
On March 28th 2015 a heavy storm put our pbx system offline. We got the guys who installed our pbx out to have a look and were told a spike ran trough the tele line and damaged 1 of the pbx cards.we installed a new one and It worked for a couple min and the lines went dead.I once again called out the guys that handle our pbx system out he had a look and told me its telkom lines that's a issue.I than mail telkom and after 2days the guy phones on the telkom line and tells me the telkom line is fine however while I am speaking to him I see smoke come out of our pbx system and he laughs.I told him I am serious.he cuts the call.I phone our pbx line guys and he came out again and once again checks and tells me the voltage in the phone line is to high that's the resorn fo the 2nd card to burn. Had the telkom guys out here again on the 2nd april who spent the entier day and got nothing done.everything is just lying open the pbx and wiring.its now the 7th april and still have our lines down.2 weeks with no phone and emails is really causing us a huge loss aswell as telkom should be liable for the cost of our pbx system damage.
