Telkom Unhelpful ID Used By Someone Else

I went to the Lenasia Trade Route Telkom on Friday the 16th of November to take out a new contract. After the employee punched in my number they informed me that someone else used my ID number to RICA their phone number. The employee then informed me that the only thing they can do is inform the head office to fix it and it will only be fixed by Wednesday. After waiting until Wednesday with no updates, I called the Telkom helpline about this and they said nothing has been lodged, that there has been no progress, and that there is nothing they can do to assist me. I've tried contacting the Telkom store but the number is constantly unavailable. Telkom is aware that my ID is being used *****ently and they have done nothing to fix the issue
