Telkom unexceptionable service

Telkom has added a charge to my bill of a device that was meant to be free as part of the package. They have advised that the full amount that reflects on my bill is required to be paid, however I have a limit on my bank account deduction, which leaves an amount outstanding on my bill till the matter is resolved. I’ve contacted the call center and they have opened a dispute but also advising that any credits that needs to be issued will be given back to me on my next months bill.

This is the second time that Telkom has pulled a stunt like this regarding my bill. They don’t provide me with the service that is expected!

My argument is, what if I don’t have the full amount to pay to Telkom and this affects the rest of my monthly expenses. Telkom doesn’t consider that people actually have lives outside paying their bills! I’m holding up my side of the deal by paying my bills on time and making sure that the relevant amount is available to be deducted!

I’m sick and tired of wasting my time speaking to people from Telkom contact centres that can’t do anything for me!

Please advise what my next steps should be.
