Telkom ********* business practice

Telkom you actually do not deserve even 1 star that's how ********* you conduct your business, I had to put 1 star in order to be able to state my case. I took out a sim only month to month data contract last year in July, when I took up the contract I specifically double check with the sales guy that the contract was not binding and that I can cancel it any time which he confirmed it is as it had no device it was sim only. I was very shocked this morning when I called to cancel the contract being told that it only expires Aug 2022. I WANT this contract canceled now this is what I was told I could do when signing up.
