Telkom try to my contract without my permission

On the 5th of September 2018, I received an sms to the effect that telkom could not renew my contract due to a technical error. The only problem is that I have not requested any such renewal. So how could telkom try to renew my contract when I have given notice that I want to cancel the same contract? This fruad taking place right there. I warn others from taking contracts with telkom because this is what will happen to you. The number in question is ********** 316.

This is the message I received, "Dear #######, due to a technical error your Contract Renewal order on ********** 316 could not be completed. We apologise for the inconvenience caused. If you wish to continue with your renewal process, please reply with YES, and one of our agents will phone you back. Regards Telkom"
