Telkom *********s

I recently app**** for a cell phone contract and I was told it was it declined for those particular phones but then the lady I was talking to then started explaining things that I did not know about, so she sold me something that I specifically said whatever that is then it must come with a phone. To my surprise the package came it was a router that I don’t know how to use and I don’t need, I then called Telkom and what bothered me the most was that before I could finally get someone to listen to my story was that I was sent pillar to post about the department that is supposed to handle this issue...

I then spoke to a guy called Tshepo I think, I told him that I want to return this device because I don’t know how I got ******* into agreeing in something that I did not even know how it works, I even asked about the seven day upon delivery policy and if they will come and collect it as this guy said it will take 48 hours for my issue to be resolved, he then said as long as the call was logged within the 7 days policy then I should not encounter any issues. I waited for their call n nothing happened so I called and the again I was sent from pillar to post and we are now on day 8 with no call back after my initial complaint. Telkom is a bunch of *********s, I mean I’m a 63 year old woman who wanted cell phones for sons birthday instead I get ******* into a router and how will my son use this when he doesn’t have a phone.

I just really want this device to go back and I’m not liable for any contract cancelling penalties as my complaint was during the seven day policy and I even told this guy that all I wanted is a phone and if Telkom can offer me a phone I would take that and they take their router back but after their lack of communication I don’t anything to do with them.
