Telkom Treat Loyal Customers like a *********

<p>Yesturday, the 24/04/2017, I received a sms from P&P Attorneys stating: "Your outstanding Telkom account has been handed to P&P Attorneys. Ref no.42M030953 Call 039*** ****".</p> <p> </p> <p>Today the 25/04/2017, I received a sms again stating: "Urgently contact P&P Attorneys within 24 Hours regarding your outstanding Telkom account. Call 039 *** **** ref42M030953".</p> <p> </p> <p>I filled and filed my cancellation form and submitted it on 30/08/2016 (eight (8) months ago) which I have saved for proof incase this day does come. They have failed to cancel my service and have continued to bill me for an ADSL Line which has not been in use since then as we have upgraded to their Telkom LTE Uncapped package.</p> <p> </p> <p>I know with all the evidence I have against them, that they have no legal standing locus standi, however they continue to tarnish my name with credit providers and even proceed to institute legal action.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is the third (3rd) complaint regarding this matter I have posted and I get one response without nothing ever being done to resolve this issue. I have indicated to Telkom that I will make payment once my account is in order and the correct amount is reflected till date of my cancellation.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>I have not utilised the ADSL services since we took out a contract with Telkom for their uncapped LTE.</p> <p>As a loyal customer they now send me a bill via sms with an account that just accumilates.</p> <p> </p> <p>I would like to pay this account, but I refuse to do so until my account reflects the amount it should have been had my account been cancelled as requested. It is not my issue if they failed to inform me that they needed me to resolve this with my ISP first.</p> <p> </p> <p>My credit standing has also subsequently been soiled as I was marked as a bad payee, when I tried to renew my MTN cellphone contract.</p>
