Telkom TRADE ROUTE MALL

I went in to the Telkom store at Trade Route Mall with my dad (65 years old). We weren’t even greeted or even smiled at upon entering the store. My dad was seated probably 3 feet from the service desk. There was a customer standing on the side of the service desk and a promotion pamphlet on the front of the desk. My dad went to take the pamphlet and Masopha (the lady at the service desk) rudely instructed my 65 year old dad to move. So he asked if there’s a problem and her response was “obviously”.

The manager was on lunch break and we walked out of the store infuriated after arguing with her about her attitude.

I returned to the store to speak to the manager Mbata who clearly was not interested in helping solve the issue but rather defending the lady at customer service. While speaking to him, this lady kept on mumbling to me over his shoulder which says a lot about his leadership as he entertained it.

When my father asked him what his name was, he told him to look in the stars and pointed up. My father then swore at him when he realized that his making my father look like a fool in front of everyone.

I managed to obtain his name from another cell phone store at Trade Route Mall.

The most pathetic customer service ever.
