TELKOM Thieved me out of a service and now im stuck with a new damaged phone for 2 years!!! SHamless

I have had a contract with Telkom for the past 4-5 months and my screen has now cracked. When asking an agent and even showing her a picture of the device first time she said they wont charge me. WHen i then brought the phone in they said they will charge me R5600, absurd!!!! i was not notified about the samsung screen repair service when purchasing the device and now it is more than 30 days old. I am now stuck with a contract and phone for 2 years with a cracked screen. I feel thieved out of a service which should have been offered upfront as accidental screen damages are bound to happen!
