Telkom *****ed my Day Data I want it back

So I have been a loyal customer to Telkom for over a year now.. buying R500 airtime every month, 20 gigs data and 500g Night time data .. so Last night I decide to download some series and telkom takes my 4gigs daytime data instead of night time day.. Over a year I have been with them and they are telling me I need to restart my phone in order for the night surfer to kick in ? since when ? I have been doing it for over a year and never have I had to restart.. I want my daytime data back I need it as I work from home and its flippen far from end of the month
