TELKOM - THEIR INCOMPETENCE MAY COST YOU A FORTUNE, HERE IS WHY:

TELKOM CAN RUIN YOU EVEN IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CONTRACT - BE CAREFUL, stop dealing with TELKOM as the have the state's legal resources to use against you. Their ADMINISTRATION IS CHAOTIC. If you have a contract with them that expires (now, or soon), get it in writing on an official Telkom letter that your contract expires or even if you are (like I was) on a month to month agreement. STOP USING THEM - they can abuse and bill you info even if you do not have a contract. Their administrative system is used to *******ly bill customers without them being aware of it. I did not demand my cancellation in writing, and now they lay charges and handed me over to to a debt collection firm (which is too ashamed to tell me who they are, because I told them everything and they still demand payment because Telkom is their client). Telkom could not withdraw money from my bank with a debit order - which proofs that I did not have a contract - it part of their contractual agreements. THEY DON'T CARE. I had an uncapped wi-fi month to month agreement. Although is was called "uncapped" , it was most of the time "non-existent", and I cancelled it about 6 months ago. Even the day I told them in the local Telkom shop that I will unplug the router and will not use it anymore, the Telkom shop did not have an internet connection themselves. After a long discussion (I wait in a line for 3 hours) they took my information and write it down. I unplugged the router, but THEY still billed me for a subscription AND data for more than 6 months - which I did not even know of because I don not use the post office anymore and Telkom did not have a debit order WHICH IS NORMALLY REQUIRED WITH A CONTRACT.
