Telkom the Terible

Hi there if you are considering coming over to Telkom. Please reconsider. Below is a few screenshots of what to expect with regards to reception. They show you all the pink areas as MTN on their coverage map and ask you then to roam. After you roam and still dont get signal they send out a technician to test your signal strength. Technician arrives after a month or so and confirm you dont have sufficient signal and says that Telkom will install a booster of sorts. After another month or so with no booster in sight you get an sms thanking you for your complaint and that the issue is now resolved although nothing has been done. You phone in to question this and many other issues relating to other issues (recharge not reflecting which takes 72 hours to rectify) your expected time on the phone is nothing less than 30 minutes. Oh and if you were wondering no I do not live on a farm or rural area but in Kempton Park Johannesburg. I invite you to please share this post as people are swithing because, yes they have attractive offers but this does not help if you can not use this bundles and they expire not used due to no coverage usage.
