Telkom, the nightmare
DISGUSTED!!! According to their policy, when items are delivered, ONLY the person who placed the order, along with ID is allowed to sign for the parcel... Yet, Telkom, allowed a complete stranger with no proof of ID to sign for my parcel... I then contacted the courier to collect the parcel & return it to Telekom, which they did... But because it was signed for, Telekom has been deducting from my bank every month. So I am paying for a device that I DO NOT HAVE... & once u sign with Telkom, you are literally bound for life as it will take them a lifetime to cancel anything relating to them... There are those rare 1 or 2 agents that are helpful & give you this tiny glimmer that there's hope. Then Telkom steps in & sh*ts all over it... I am leaning towards taking legal action but would like some advice regarding this before I take it to the extreme, as this is a constant battle & I know there are a great number of victims who are having the same or similar nightmare.

In Feb 2018, I app**** online to purchase ur LTE bundle for R349 (special) It was then delivered to an address in CT & was signed for by 1 of the neighbours, this was NOT the agreement, as this is against your policy, yet it was still done. I then requested the courier company to collect the parcel & return it back to you, this they have done as I have emails stating that it was collected & returned.
So, since Feb, you have been deducting that R349 every month, for a device that I have never received nor used.
I have logged countless faults to get this account canceled & my money FULLY refunded. I have sent cancelation documents & emails but there has been no change as this account is still open.
The above mentioned device I need canceled & removed from my account & my deductions from Feb to be refunded.
I sincerely hope that you are able to assist & rectify your (the company) mistakes.

09 Aug 2018, 23:27So... Telkom did reply to my message & I explained my situation... & as expected, they went quiet. Haven't heard anything from them, no feedback, nothing... So it seems that I am to continue being billed for a device which I do not have.
