TELKOM!!! The left hand still doesn't know what the right hand does!!!

So, we have been warned that Telkom targets seniors that are slightly more gullible... We cancelled our Telkom line in March 2023 as NOBODY ever used it for phoning (Duh, the network hardly works in any case) and we only had it for ADSL. Then when we lost our network in 2020, Telkom just said: Sorry! Cable theft is costing us tooo much, we are not replacing. We have been paying line rental for absolutely no reason except being loyal. This was cancelled, not once, not twice, no NUMEROUS of times. Low and behold, the debit order went through religiously every month.... My husband has been there (situation normal we need to speak to the account holder), we have been there at least every month since April 2023. Lately the debit order is for a Mobile account!!! Now we are being handed over by Telkom to debt collectors for the amount of over R2600 for a mobile account! Trust me, even if Telkom was the last mobile suppliers, we will not go with them. My husband turned 70 last year and they are targeting him. How cruel can you be?
