Telkom - terrible service provider

Took out a 24 month contract with Telkom 2 years ago. Decided not to renew the contract but to proceed on a month-to-month basis. Visited Telkom Sandton to switch over to a different month-to-month package. Upon my request to cancel the month-to-month contract, I was contacted by Telkom and advised that I am on a new 24 month contract and that penalties will be payable if I want to cancel the contract. Absolutely the worst service provider. Stay far away.
