Telkom terrible service

Terrible service. There is no understanding whatsoever of the customer's requirements. I am a 62 years old pensioner. I was employed up to August 2025 this year. In July I app**** for a 12 months R655/month Telkom fibre facility when I was still employed. When I lost my job I was told that I can downgrade to a much cheaper and affordable facility without penalties. I then app**** for a cheaper option. The employees who handle the applications do not communicate with the people who handle cancellations. After applying for a much cheaper fibre option, I was told that I will not be penalized for early termination as long as I am replacing a pre-existing facility. When I requested for termination, I was told that I will be hit by penalties even if I am downgrading. I pleaded that I am no longer employed and I no longer have any income except small rental income. They refused to listen to me. They are a brick wall that has no client feelings and all they want is my money. When I am in trouble, they absolutely have no care. Its all about money. I asked for a supervisor or manager but I was told by junior staff that I stand no chance at all and they would take legal action against me to get the full contract money come hell come sunshine. They denied me access to anybody senior and they do not entertain my new situation due to loss of job. Telkom is extremely terrible, money focused and does not care about its customers. Customers effectively pay Telkom for a service and in turn telkom employees are paid their salaries. I was told to almost to shut up by the Telkom employees. Very very rude and terrible service. They dont listen to changed circumstances. Not at all. Shame on Telkom. This will be my first and last service from Telkom. They are a brick wall in listening. They communicate one way. The customer is totally wrong and must be hanged. You have no access to log in complaints at all. Terrible, terrible and horrible service. Zero customer response. Cold and heartless.
