Telkom telephone line/adsl line fault and fault service issues

We have been without our telephone line for 2 weeks. Countless calls to the only place you can log a fault, except for their website.

Been told a technician has only been assigned to our line yesterday. No indication of a date by when this telephone line will be fixed. Days/weeks/months, what can telkom tell you. Nothing, be patient.

Supervisors are always in meetings. When do they supervise there departments if they are always in meetings? Give them details so they can phone you, they never do. Want to go speak to someone in person, goodluck your only option is the call centre.

You can not speak to the person responsible for fixing the problem. There is no real urgency in their service, appologies are the only service they could provide to us. So we thus have to wait and see if we will have a phone line or adsl line by the end of the month, by the looks of it this might take at least another week or two. Am I being optimistic?

Still no indication as to when this will be fixed. Technicians came 4 days ago and have to get access to neighbours house, they could not get access so now we wait.

Seems like there is no procedures to get access to telphone lines. Isn't telkom tech guys supposed to contact the residents beforehand, in order to schedule a time to get access to the telephone line in their premises. Seems obvious that they would not be able to just pitch up and get access.

Not efficient at all. 13 Feb to 2 Mar without any commitment to dates this will be fixed. Is this really the best service telkom can provide.

Once again appologies and sympathy is all that Telkom can provide when contacting call centre agents.
