Telkom Technical Service Department NON-existent

So for the last 2 weeks I have been having intermittent internet connection. I logged the fault with my ISP (WebAfrica) and they couldn't find any problem on their side after doing a couple of tests. Webafrica then logged a fault with Telkom. Telkom then limited my 8Mb speed to 4Mb because it made the connection more stable. I called Webafrica a couple times throughout the 2 weeks asking for updates and the updates that were given were vague if even that!!! Anyway I was then told that a Telkom technician has the fault in hand and will contact me asap.

3 days later I get a sms not a call a sms from Telkom saying the fault has been fixed. Seconds after receiving this text I did a speedtest and my connection was still limited to 4Mb and I am not even joking, 10 minutes after that the connection dropped again, so clearly nothing was done at all because, and I am guessing here, the technician had absolutely no idea what my line speed is supposed to be or that the problem was even intermittent. It feels like the communication is non-existent there, kinda ironic, no communication at a telecommunication company...anyway I immediately called to tell them that the fault has not been fixed and I need this to be fixed asap because I use the internet to make money from home and that I am paying for a full service that I am receiving the half of. I asked the support staff member to pass me to a Support manager and I was notified that the manager was on a call with another escalation and that he would have to contact me back later. I gave my contact details and 16 hours later I was still waiting for this call. I called them again and demanded to speak to the support manager and was just told the same story again. This time though half an hour later I received a call from the Support Manager Sisanda and she upped my line speed to 8Mb but I was only getting 6.6Mb. She then told me that she will have to contact the exchange to get this problem sorted for me and PROMISED me that she would call me today (2017/01/02) at 13:00PM to fix this problem. I called them at 14:00PM and was told (by Harold) that Support Manager Sisanda is not in today. Not in today?! So I said ok fine just let me speak to any Support manager and was told the exact same story again, that the manager (This time a guy called Serame) was busy with another escalation and that he would have to contact me back (I swear this stuff is all scripted). I told the support staff member that I am getting really angry now and that I am expecting this Support managers call at 14:30 PM. I am still waiting for this phone call. I am paying for a service that I am not receiving, in a sence this is *****ing as they are taking my money for something I am not receiving and the best part is that I am not the only one. There are many other Telkom clients that are having the same service problems and that are also paying for something they are not receiving.

Just an Update.
I received the above message and mailed them. I got a reply saying that the fault is at the testing center and that it would be given to a technician after testing is complete. It's now been 4 days and still no update after asking them for an update on this 3 times.
You really can't complain about their service because it is non-existent.
