Telkom tampered my laptop and refuses to refund

<p>I took a latop about 1 and a half years ago. November 2015 my laptop stopped working. I booked it in for repairs at the telkom store in shelly beach port shepstone kzn. Without any feedback for the whole they told me there is a problem at the repair centre. End of December they called me saying the laptop has returned repaired. Upon opening the box I noticed *****S MISSING and device is in a bad condition. Further more the device is not fixed. January 11 the device is sent in for the second time. The store advises me to call LET ME REPAIR CENTRE for feedback. On doing so I find that they have no record of the device ever booked in. The store does an investigation and found that the device was at the store and went with courier for one week only then was returned. LET ME REPAIR RESPONDED WITH A OUT OF WARRANTY CLAIM DUE TO PHYSICAL DAMAGE. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THIS RESULT AND COULD NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE QUOTE OF R8200 as the device was tampered with by a third party while bring in for repairs yet not reaching the repair centre. I was then promised a credit by the store. March 30 the device is sent back FOR THE THIRD TIME to dispute quote and confirm credit and platinum warranty responds saying THEY HAD NO PART IN THE TAMPERING OF THE DEVICE THEREFORE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE ASWELL. The device is still at the repair centre . I have not had usage of this device for SEVEN MONTHS WHILE PAYING EVERY MONTH WITHOUT FAIL. </p>
