Telkom takes advantage of customers even after repeated cancellation requests

I had adsl with Telkom and cancelled due to going to fibre, but I was misinformed and Fibre was not yet installed where I stay. I tried to get them to reinstate my service only to be forced to purchase lte. There is no lte coverage in my area. 4 months after fighting with Telkom about the service, I had a technician come to my house to only confirm that what I was saying was accurate. They assured me that I would not be charged a cancellation fee and that they would cancel the package as long as I returned the router that they provided. I handed the router back over two months ago, I am still being billed for the cancelled service which I have since tried repeatedly to submit tickets on their online service and chatbots only to be met with broken links and being ignored. I have since put through a request to cancel my cellphone contract with them also, only to be met with the same, ignoring, not chat activities. I have also sent emails to the store clerk who I handed the device to and the technician and am being ignored. I do not understand how they cannot call you back or give you the service you are paying for.

I since have been getting snotty emails to say my account is in arrears and I must log on to pay. Telkom, your service not only sucks, you force products on clients during these difficult times and you force debit orders whenever you please which only leads to further financial burdens on your customers. I will be raising this issue with higher channels as you need to be dealt with. I am sure I am not the only consumer that is tired of your service and underhandedness.
