Telkom System Fault prevents me from migrating; raised issue over a month ago with no results even after constant correspondence!!!

I upgraded my Telkom contract on 19 Jan 2016 via Sell Direct Marketing on behalf of Telkom and was billed by Telkom for the new contract from this date also.

As per the contract, should I wish to migrate to a higher package, I am entitled to do so within 3 months after the start of my new contract, so on 19 Apr 2016 I went to the local Telkom shop to migrate my contract. When they checked on the system, instead of showing that my contract age is 3 months old, it showed that my contract age was 19 days old! Further investigation showed that an incorrect date was entered as 1 Apr 2016, thus causing the contract age to be calculated incorrectly. The people in the shop was unable to assist me further and I was asked to call the 081 180 call centre number to resolve my issue.

For more than a month now I've been calling Telkom and was on the line for more than an hour every time, in order for a consultant to check my contract and speak to someone, just for every single one of them to confirm that there's a problem on the system, because even though they can see that my contract was upgraded on 19 Jan 2016, the system shows that my contract start date / activation date / committed date is 1 Apr 2016.

Every time I phone, I am placed on hold for the consultant to check something with someone else. Every time I'm given instructions that I follow, just to find out when I follow it, that it is incorrect and I have to contact Telkom again. The people who is supposed to contact me, doesn't do so, or they put a note on the system to say that they did try to contact me, even though I received no call, missed call or voicemail message.

For more than a month now, while everyone can see that I should be fully able to migrate, Telkom still hasn't done anything about the problem in their system that's caused the issue I'm experiencing. There seems to be nobody capable of overriding the system or giving permission for the migrate to take place, considering the fault doesn't lie with me, but with Telkom's system and the data that was captured by Telkom.

I still want to migrate, but enough is enough. I can't bear to be passed along to the next person anymore!!! While the consultants are friendly and "understand my frustration", I have absolutely no joy in getting this resolved and end up having to phone Telkom again and again, with the same result, i.e. no progress whatsover!!!

Please have someone sort this out IMMEDIATELY!!! I can't wait anymore!!!
