Telkom support useless, cannot get through to support

paid a telkom landline today, and tried to call customer care to reactivate the account again. A complete nightmare. Calls from the landline results in the EXACT same result EVERY time. Calling customer care gives your balance, and how much you owe. And DROPS your call after a min. When calling 081 187 as instructed, the response is the number is locked, call customer care, which is EXACTLY what we are TRYING to do.

Even though its a telkom number we are calling, that number does not exist when calling from telkom mobile, and telkom landline either drops the call when calling customer care, or tells us the line is locked, call customer care, and drops the call.
