TELKOM STORE PAROW BRANCH ****** ME ON BROAD DAYLIGHT

I lost a Samsung Galaxy phone and I went to Telkom store, Parow Branch in Cape Town on 07 October 2020. My aim was to buy a Samsung contract phone but ultimately I chose HUAWEI P Smart S. The consultant who assisted was Kubrah. She explained among other thing the following: installment for 24 months, data, free minutes and etc. In her explanation she left out the most important information regarding the Huawei phone, something that I will divulge below. I was subsequently requested to sign the contract documents. I signed and I left.

When I reached my flat I attempted to retrieve all my contacts through my Google account but all my attempts were in vain. I then requested my friend to assist but he simply told me about the trade war between CHINA and the USA. All HUAWEI phones no longer have Google Account.

The contract I signed has a specific page explaining that all HUAWEI phones have no Google Accounts. The consultant Kubrah never explained that to me. She simply requested my names, date and signature. This is the information she hid away from me. If she explained I would had bought A SAMSUNG phone so that I could be in a position to recover all my contacts that were saved on my Google account.

The next day, I went back to the shop to formally complain about the poor service I got from Kubrah. Secondly I wanted to return the HUAWEI phone and buy a Samsung one. Yesterday and today 09 October 2020 I was at the shop still persuading them to take back the phone sol that I buy a Samsung phone and enter into a new contract. I was dismissed.

Now I can't have access to my contacts on my Google account. Now I have a contract for 24 months with no Google account, and all my contacts gone.

I therefore request your intervention. I don't want to run away from the contract but I simply need a phone with a Google account. From where I am seated I feel it incumbent upon Kubrah that the HUAWEI phone doesn't have Google account. I consider her action as DAY LIGHT *******.
