Telkom still not accepting our cancelation documents even though Hallopeter has contacted them.

We have have canceled our landline( a farm line )as the infrastructure is no longer being serviced by Telkom. We therefore have no choice in the matter. In spite of three cancellation forms being sent and an appeal to Telkom through Hallopeter - nothing has come of the cancellation and we are still being billed for the line fee. A person by the name of LOUNA rep**** through Hallopeter that she would look into the matter but has not done so. On receiving her message via Hallopeter I sent our landline number to Louna in an effort to speed up the process. Nothing has however been done. Telkom is leaving the rural areas to cope as best they may at a time when communication for both farmer and workers is of paramount importance for safety and transport to medical facilities. Not all areas have cellphone reception in the rural areas.

Ah Dear Telkom Dear Noleen( who promised in her reply to look into the matter) We are still battling to get our Telkom line cancelled!! Amazing. Surely the most inefficient company in South Africa. Africa? Have been trying to get our Telkom line cancelled since before September 2017. There is literally no telephone line infrastructure left - and yet we have to pay for the line every month inspite of repeatedly trying to cancel the line. Cannot they see there is no activity on our telephone account? Can they not pick that up and enquire what the reason is for no calls? Of course that is surely too much to ask!! I have kept my replies private -however that's not working. Though trying to shame Telkom is unlikely to have any affect. You do realise, dear Telkom, that we can no longer keep on paying for something that is physically not there Regards Tygerpoort
