Telkom sold me an incorrect deal
I have accepted an offer for a Telkom router from Mondo mobile via a telephone consultant in July 2019. The offer was for 10GB all networks data for R179. 99/month. Upon receipt of the product i had connection problems and then called Mondo to assist. As it turned out i was not able to connect because the data was "Telkom data" and due to no Telkom coverage where i work ajd stay i couldn't use the device. On the very same day i received the device i asked that they collect it and cancel the contract because this was not what i agreed to and it also wasn't going to be of use to me due to my network issues. I have contacted Mondo and was assured that they will arrange for collection but days went, days became weeks, which became months without no collection. Im thoss months Telkom would debit my acc and i would reverse the debit orders as i waited fot the collection. In October 20-9, i decided to contact Telkom via Twitter and customer care to try get assistance as Mondo was failing me. I was requested to fill in cancelation form online, which i did but still no cancelation was done and they continued to debit mu account every month. In February this year Mondo sent a courier to collect the device. I sent thr proof of collection to Telkom, was asked to do another cancelation online, which i did but still they continues to debit even debit to this day. I have spoken to a lot of Telkom consultants via their customer care line trying to follow up on the cancellation but every tine each and every one of them seems to be starting the process from the beginning. This has been a frustrating issue for months and still continues as i am still being debited. I have not used any data or the device itself, they have collected the device and i have senf proof of collection, what ia the held up with regards to rhe cancelation? My main issue is now Telkom has put me on RED as if I have a bad credit record when i don't owe them anything and don't even have or used their device.
