Telkom sold me a service that it cannot provide
Last year Telkom sold me ADSL 10.00 mb/s. All I got was no more than 0.15mb/s. The technician that was sent to check out the fault later confirmed that there is no way I can get such speeds in my area. I therefore cancelled the contract and initiated a dispute on the charges. Some fees were cancelled but I still have R1029.88 that I have to pay.

I sent an email to [Email Removed] as per advise of the lady at Billing (who could not explain what amount was made up of). It has been almost a month and still no response.

Is it really fair business practice to charge a customer for a product/service that you could not and have not delivered?
