Telkom service shocking

I was delivered a new digital phone by Telkom 2 weeks ago. I was told that within 72 hours it would be active , to date it still is dead and not working. I have had no communication from Telkomas to why and have even visited their shop in Knysna only to be told the Network is down theres nothing they can do about it. Totally unacceptable. This is the type of service we get from the service provider and its shocking. Telkom need to contact their users and explain or just simply do their jobs properly.
