Telkom Service seems to be non-existant and connected to a auto-answering system

Near the end of November 2017 a call was logged to investigate an ADSL line which kept on dropping connection with the service provider. On 5 December I received a message "Dear Valued Telkom Customer, your service on (telephone number) has been re-tested and found to be free of defects. To confirm that your service is working please reply with this SMS with your Telkom number followed by ********** If your service is still faulty then reply with your Telkom number followed by ********** No reply will indicate to us that the service is still faulty and we will attend to your fault as soon as possible. Sms rates apply. After indicating that it is still not fixed I receive the following SMS on 7 December "Telkom has created a work order for a technician to attend to your fault as soon as possible" Today is the 2nd of January 2018 and I have yet to see a technician come to check the line and fix the issue. It seems that the auto-answering system is working fine but the communication to the people (or the people) who are supposed to follow up and deliver the physical service are non existent.
