TELKOM - SERVICE NOT WORKING - AGAIN
Here we go again. A couple of weeks ago my landline went down and the fault line refused to log a fault. So what am I paying a rental for monthly, when it keeps stop working. The actual problem is Ants get into the box and eat the plastic covering the copper. Also I was told last time and again now they do not repair copper lines. So then why don't they give me a better solution at a better price than expensive fibre, which keeps going down. When everyone in the street has no Wi-Fi as fibre is down, I still have wifi with ADSL. It's just the phone that doesn't work. PLEASE HELP.

17 Oct 2024, 08:36TELKOM - like all other SOE's, is in deep state of mismanagement by the looks of it from the poor service I am receiving, actually NO service really.
My landline keeps going down for incoming calls and occasionally the whole system goes down. 6 Aug 2024 I complained, was refused a fault report ref #, as copper lines are not repaired, so what a I then to use. The new phone system they are pushing is not what I want. I do not want fibre, I like my ADSL, which has not let me down in 29 years. At least that still works.
In Aug a man from Telkom did contact me and got it sorted. I need him to sort this account again PLESASE. ***. I have had this number since 1984 and want to keep it until something better than what is on offer is launched, until then my copper line in my lifeline!!!
I have paid my bill but not not getting the full contract rights for my money.
