Telkom service not up to standard.

I took my Huawei wifi router to the Menlyn Telkom Store seeing as it was not picking up any wifi signal.

Seeing as the router was still under warranty, (I purchased the router in December last year), I wanted to send the router in for repairs. Unfortunately they required a proof of delivery to confirm the warranty of the router which I didn't have on hand. Tumi confirmed that she will send an email to your accounts department requesting the proof of delivery, which will take no longer than 48 hours.

After not hearing anything from her after a week, I returned to the store and she confirmed that she hasn't received any reponse yet. Now we did a SIM swap in store when I orginally took in the router seeing as I need wifi at home. After a week the SIM was still not activated. When we went back they only then found out that a SIM card for an LTE router will not work in another device. They gave me the following options:

1. I send in the router for repairs seeing as it is still under warranty which will take 28 days. I cannot sit without internet for that long.

2. They do not offer loan units while my router goes in for repairs.

3. I can buy a new router for R1 500 which is ridiculous seeing as my router is under warranty.

4. They cannot give me a SIM card with my details on to use in another device seeing as the SIM cards are not interchangable.

5. And I will of course have to continue paying my account of R600 per month for something that I cannot use?

I chose this specific internet package because I am studying part time which requires a stable internet connection. Now I cannot download study material, I cannot submit assignments, I cannot do anything. Seeing as I paid R25 000 for this course, I am wondering if Telkom will refund me these expenses?
