TELKOM SERVICE IS PATHETIC
Good day, My son, Bryan Gardner, cancelled his internet line on 18/12/17, handed in a completed form, copy of his ID and received an email confirming his cancellation for Sivuyisiwe Tokwe on 18/12/17. The email stated the request will be attended to in 21 business days. My son moved out his apartment on 31/12/17. On 27/12/17, he received an sms with ref. no. ********** 01A regarding his cancellation. He moved out his apartment on 31/12/17. He is aware of the 30 day notice period, so he paid January 2018 invoice of R660.07 on 27/01/18. He emigrated to the UK on 10/01/18. Now he has received an invoice for February 2018 for R660.07. I went to Telkom Baywest Port Elizabeth on 09/02/18 to try sort this out, but was given a incident no. ********** , Case no. ********** 6 by Mandisa. Kindly advise the reason as to why my son has to pay for February when 30 days was the end of January?? He wasn't even in his apartment to use the internet, so he is refusing to pay this February invoice. PLEASE can someone please come back to me to explain why this line was NOT cancelled timeously. Thank you. Regards, Mrs. L. Gardner Tel. 041- ********** (w)
