Telkom service is appalling!!!

Hi

I had a problem with the battery of my device in December 2014 after purchasing my device from Telkom in April 2014. The Telkom branch in Bluff, Durban, booked in my device for repairs to the repair centre in JHB on the 29.12.2014 and assured me that my warrant would cover the damages. On 16.01.2015, I get an sms saying my warranty is expired and I need to pay R1179.17 for repairs. I refused and asked that my device be sent back to me. I waited for my device, after no response I laid a complaint on the 11.02.2015 and after a call from Busi Tshabangu, I was told to pay an admin fee of R188.10 so that the Telkom repair centre could courier my device to my nearest Telkom branch. I find it ridiculous that I need to pay this in the first place as this service should be freely offered to all Telkom clients! However, I paid the fee on the 11.02.2015. I still hadn't received my device so I called the call centre on the 19.02.2015, the agent Mduduzi told me to go to my branch and my device \would"be there. I went to the branch on the 23.02.2015 and my device was not there! Its over 2 months and nobody is telling me where my device is!

This is frustrating! I demand a response ASAP!"""
