Telkom sells fiber packages which cannot give you connection to and they disconnect your adsl immediately which cannot be reconnected. BEWARE

A Telkom sales agent called me on 22apr2021 offering a vumatel fibre package for R699 which I accepted. The next morning my adsl was disconnected. Today 17may2021, after daily calls to telkom and daily escalation by a useless call centre I received an email that the fiber order was unsuccessful. I called the call centre who advised that vumatel could not find my address which is in kempton park and has a landline for 30years. Adsl cannot also be reconnected because they are doing away with copper connections. In this century telkom cannot provide adsl or fibre connect in kempton park johannesburg . Now I dont have anything and no one can answer at telkom
