Telkom sells ADSL service which they cannot supply

In The Honydew Manor / Ridge area Telkom has / is selling an ADSL service which they technically cannot supply. According to specifications the max distance from exchange for ADSL to work is +/- 4km. Our area is between 4.5km and 6km from the Honeydew exchange. <br> There are two issues <br> 1) Telkom web site says 2Mb ADSL is available in this area. According to their techies not possible<br> 2) Telkom are selling / has sold 4Mb ADSL to many customers in this area. <br> So is it not ********** of Telkom to sell or charge for a service that it is not possible to supply?<br> We are considering taking legal action jointly with other Telkom users in this area claiming refunds for what Telkom has charged us for years knowing very well that they cannot supply what they have contracted to supply.
