Telkom sells 5 year old stock

So I had a tablet contact for an Hauwei which my son used for 8 years before it giving up completely. In that time I took out around 6 year in I took out another contract for a second tablet this time Samsung for my wife.

But this tablet was worth "more" and the contract for 3 years... I thought well thats fine seeing as an Hauwei can last 8 years the Samsung will last maybe longer or the same.

Anyway 2 years in and the tablet can't up date anything not even the native apps wants to work like YouTube I take it to Samsung to check it out and they said this table is very very old stock.

I end up having to pay for a year for a device which does not work at all!!!!

The idea behind a contract is to make it affordable and once you done paying it to still have the use of it.
