thank you but forgive me if I dont get too excited. I have been promised escalation approx 25 times. I phone every day and either get an apology and a promise of escalation, or have been told I make too much noise. I have lost so much business I dont know if I can recover. If the phone at least had an out of order signal people would not have thought we had closed down as the phone "rings and rings and no one answers" The amount of money lost because my credit card machine could not connect is catasrophic under normal circumstances but in this economic climate is even worse. Trying to work without internet is impossible. I was promised an "always on" but as Telkom is not my data provider they said it would not work. I was promised calls would be forwarded to a cell phone that also never happened. Even though I was told "somone will be in hot water over this" it appears the drought in the country prevented the person from being in hot water and me getting any assistance with the problem

HI Tumelo

The good news and the bad news.. The cable has finally been repaired but my lines are still not up. there is anouther fault with an overhead cable which apparently requires two people to fix, one on each side. Although it was only 3 oclock in the afternoon when two of your technitions came to the shop, one had come to fix a data line which went down when the cable was repaired. the technition who was suppposed to fix the line went to the "UJ" I think was what I was told. I literally begged the others to finish the job but they said they could not and would be back tomorrow. Tomorrow is the big march in Pretoria CBD and my shop is in the Pretoria CBD. I dont think I am going to see them in the caous that the city is expecting. 37 days without phones, or adsl and counting. I appreciate that something is finally happening but was terribly dissapointed that the technitions could not work passed 3 today

My other line 012 328 6534 works intermitently I sincerley hope that Telkom is not going to try and send me an account for any of the lines

Regards

Jenny

The good news and the bad news, my cable is repaired and the lines that were down all the time are working my other line which worked sometimes is still down. It is my adsl line and first I was told that I needed a new filter, as it crackeled, but now it is completely dead, Again I have phoned and phoned but the line is still down, When people phone it either rings once or twice and then dies, or they get a message saying the number is no longer in existance making them think that the entire business is no longer in existence. The damage Telkom has caused to my business is frightning.
