Telkom SA an Anxious Customer Experience

I am extremely disappointed in Telkom SA's services. I am currently extremely angry and upset. On the 24th September 2020 I upgraded my cellphone contract to a Huawei P40 Pro, after taking the phone home I realized that it is missing alot of functions that I need such as my Garmin Watch and so on Sunday, 27th September 2020 I returned the device at the Telkom store in Clearwater Mall. They took back the phone and asked me to come back on Monday, 28th September 2020 to collect a new phone, which I did. The next few days I could not make calls, so I went to Telkom at Westgate Mall and they informed me that my services were not active and I need to go back to Telkom at Clearwater Mall, and so I did. They re-instated my services. On the 4th November 2020 I received my invoice with an amount of R 20 963.13. I went back to Telkom at Clearwater Mall and queried it, the first time I was told that it was being resolved and I must wait for Telkom to issue me with a new invoice, the second time they logged a query and I waited 2 weeks and went back to the store, they told me it was being resolved and I will receive a message soon. I received the message that it was resolved and when I logged onto my Telkom Profile It showed my balance as R700.00. At the end of November 2020 Telkom debited my account with R 20 963.13, this amount bounced as this amount was not available in my account. I then logged on the my Telkom profile and did an EFT. On the 18th December 2020, Telkom debited my account with R10 000.00. That was from my salary. I was extremely angry, I went to ABSA to have it reversed, the consultant at ABSA informed that they they cannot reverse the debit order unless I get proof from Telkom that it was a mistake. I went back to Telkom Clearwater on the 30th December 2020, the store manager, Simon helped me by putting me through to the billing department. I was told that this matter has been escalated to matshetand @telkom.co.za by Tumi and will be resolved within 7-10 working days. During this time, I received ugly messages from Telkom everyday. The messages state that my services will be stopped and I will be handed over to the credit bureau listing and collection attorneys. I have also received my Invoice on the 04th January 2021 and it is still reflecting the R20 000.00. This is upsetting as this is not my fault and the fault is with Telkom. This is also alot of money and is setting me back financially which is elevating my stress and anxiety levels. I have many services and products with Telkom and so does the rest of my family, if Telkom cannot resolve this matter soon, I will not renew any of my contracts with Telkom in the future. Their customer experience is filled with anxiety and zero support. I don't know what to do or who to run to for help!
