Telkom's non existant service

We app**** for a fibre optic line, after Telkom's marketing staff told us there would be no extra cost attached. After quering the double bill the first month, I was advised by Telkom's staff that the first month is paid in advance and hence the double bill. The double billing continued and the ADSL was not cancelled automatically as I was told. I was then advise to fill in a cancellation form for the ADSL. After numerous follow up calls, my Telkom landline was cancelled in error. When I reported it, I was told I had to re-apply for a landline. A technician came out today with a NEW number. I told him that I wanted the same number that we had for 11 years, as this was the only number my 94 year old grandmother knew by heart and she can't read anymore. He then cancelled the callout and told me to re-apply again! On Tuesday I went to the Fourways Crossing store to increase my cel limit, as I haven't got a landline anymore. Was told the increased limit would be effective within one hour. Two days later and it is still not working. The store at Fourways Crossing never answers their phones. Telkom staff do not seem to be coping at the moment and service appears to be non existant, but the bills keep on coming! Telkom
