Telkom's empty promises

Re my complaint last week about no service from Telkom. After writing a complaint on HelloPeter, a Mr Keagan from Telkom Social Marketing contacted me and promised to have my line fixed (which has been out now for more than 3 weeks). Somebody (Desmond and Donavan) actually turned up the next day but said they will have a look at the lines outside and disappeared, never to be seen again. Needless to say, my internet is STILL out of action! Matter of fact, it's become worse! Now my landline just cuts off while you're busy on the line. Is this the way to get back at me for complaining? Just wondering! Question: How does a person get internet at home without having to use Telkom? Suggestions welcome.<br> PS: in the meantime I have to still pay Telkom and Mweb monthly subs even though I don't get any service from them!
