Telkom's advice to fix my problem is for me to spend more money

So about 4 months ago i decided to get uncapped internet for my home as my work as a web dev relies heavily on my need to, you know, use the web. The first month went quite well, and while my area only qualified for a 2mb line the speeds were sufficient for me to use. 2 month the issues began, my line began disconnecting every 2 minutes, weirded out by the issue i called in and a tech came over, fixed the issue and left, a week later the issue came up again, so i called in and a tech came in again, 2 days later the issue came up again, round about the fourth time the issue came up i am quite irritated by this issue, the tech says the exchange is way too far away and that is why the line keeps disconnecting like that, didnt fix anything, just left as he said he had other people in the area complaining about the same issue and had to explain it to them as well. So I'd asked what i was supposed to do now? i have a job to do that relies on the internet. He told me that the only way to fix it was to use LTE, i can't afford LTE, telkom's LTE costs r800, and i can't use a capped account as working in I.T means constantly backing up files, uploading, downloading, an almost constant use of internet, that can't be done on a capped account.

So thanks for nothing telkom, ill be cancelling my currently useless adsl account as when i try to upload files or download they become ******* from internet disconnects, and no i will be not purchasing any new internet service from you
