Telkom robbing us of data

Bought 1gig data on the 27th..at 18:23 the next day my data was depleted. Called Telkom customer service and was told I used up all my data. And wanted to understand how when my battery died after loading data and only used Google in the middle of the night with my night surfer.. was told team leader will call me back till today noone has.. They still can't give me answers what happened instead they are blaming me and saying I used it all up in one day
