Telkom robbing its customers
This is the second review im righting about telkom and im am so disgusted by thier service. On the 24th of July I app**** for a contract with Telkom online and the very next day someone by the name of Sizwe called me to assist with the process. I asked for a Huawei P10 lite and when the devise was delivered it was a home router. I then called Telkom the very same day which was the 7th of August to let them know they have delivered a wrong device. Thats when my problems started as i had to call the numerous times with out any help. Then finaly on the on the 21st of August a supervisor by the name of Jarrod Pather sent me an email with a cancellation form attached which I immediately filled and also attached a copy of my ID and sent it back to him. The router was then picked up the next day. On the 30th of August I sent Jarrod Pather an email asking him if the contract was cancelled and if they have received the router which he did not reply to. Then on the 7th of September I received an invoice via email that R549.81 will be debited from my account on the 31st of September. I them called Telkom to dispute the invoce and was sent from pillar to post without any assistance. Because I was very angry and frustrated, I then asked to speak to supervisor, an agent by the name of Cannon told me that he was busy and asked me for my number promising that Luthando Ngcobo which I believe is the supervisor will call me as soon as he was done with another escalation. Im am very disappointed to say untill today no one from Telkom has even tryed to call me. I regret ever signing for a contract with Telkom and advice anyone thinking of opening a contract with then to thin twice about it. I really hope that someone from Telkom will have the decency and help me about this issue.
