Telkom robbing clients on sim-only month to month contracts

I entered into a month-to-month sim only contract with Telkom in July 2026. The sim card was for 10 Mps for R299.00. The sim card however had network issues and I unfortunately had to cancel the contract because I was not getting value for money. Given that it was a month-to-month sim only contract, I was assured that Telkom will honor the cancellation. Now Telkom is trying to rob me. They are indicating that I have to pay R885 for next six month in order to cancel the contract. This is a clear ******* from Telkom. I regret ever using Telkom and would never encourage anyone to use Telkom. Please don't be a fool like me never use Telkom.
