Telkom roaming change to vodacom problems

Telkom have changed roaming partner from mtn to vodacom July 2019. Since then my data sim in my huawei nova keeps on changing from Telkom SA data to Telkom SA-R and I lose internet connectivity. I visited telkom store and called the service provider for assistance. It seems that they cannot sort this problem out. I know there is strong Telkom SA signal where I stay because my wife is also on Telkom network and she have no problems at all. Before this vodacom deal ,I never had any connectivity problems. I am receiving endless sms messages that my internet access has been paused. Even through the night. This is so frustrating!
