Telkom Refusing To Cancel Contract

Canceled my contract after endless hassles with an intermittent ADSL line. unable to upload any files for work for 4 years. Reference number after reference number. Hundreds of rands of airtime spent trying to get an intelligent human to move my landline to a new address (before cancellation) eventually led to my canceling of the contract. I was told someone would call several times to move landline but no one ever did...

The first email sent 8 August 2nd email 19 September 2019 I sent an email to *** (TWICE) AND ***

3 Months later they send me a bill for three of none existant & faulty service

No apology for the inconvenience, nothing just give me your money.

How these people are still in business is mystifying.

We have had endless problems with our internet being intermittent over the last 4 years. My work entails uploading documents onto a web-based platform this was an impossible task due to the line being intermittent. after being able to speak to an intelligent human you had sent a technician out a to diagnose, then another then another and every time I request to use the same technician but every time I get a different one. I understand this means it could take longer which would have been fine. Having to explain again and again is unprofessional to put it lightly! This happened most recently several times. Your technicians should be informed before arriving at a client's residence and further aggravating them.

This being said if you track my profile you will note that the line has be problematic for years. I have canceled the line as you know but expect to be compensated for the endless call centers making me hold for 45 minutes and transferring me to the wrong departments, then hanging up the phone/cutting me off and having to start again broken-hearted from scratch.

I then try to move my landline as we were changing addresses and was told someone would call me back within 20 working days. That came and went. Fortunately, I got a reference number and a Name you’ll see below. No-one ever called me back. I was without internet/landline for 2months until I switched to Afrihost they then corrected this.

Then to add insult to injury you send me an account for R1200.00 odd!?

Not only is this amount going to be dismissed but I will to be refunded in full for the last 3 months.
