Telkom refuses to release my fibre line

Once again Telkom cancellations failed. My services with Telkom has been cancelled, however my line is still active. Also my new provider cannot migrate my fibre line since Telkom has not released it. I spent more then 1 hour on the phone with 2 different Telkom call agents and clearly something is very messed up as they cannot give me answers.

Now I need to wait 7 to 14 working days for them to figure our what is going on and they refuse to release my line even though their system clearly shows that my services have been cancelled.

@Telkom, Please release my line so I can migrate.

My headache continues. Telkom's sales department is adamant that my line has been cancelled, however i am writing this review over that line. Telkom clearly have no idea of what is going on. I have spoken to sales 3 times. The last agent referred me to technical. Technical confirmed that my line is active. It seems my accounts are cancelled, but still active. Does this mean i now have free internet for life?

I do not feel comfortable with this. Telkom, please sort yourselves out. I cannot keep getting brushed off when i am telling you that you did not properly cancel my line. next thing i know i am still going to be billed next month or you cancelled the wrong line and someone else is now paying for a service he is not receiving (Glad i am not that guy :-) ).

It is now 2 weeks after my line should have been cancelled and Telkom still refuses to release my line. Great. I think i am just going to another fibre provider then they don't have to release the line and they can keep it. Thanks Telkom. I will NEVER do business with you again.
