Telkom refuses to refund / credit clients for unusable service & incorrect invoices!

Since my last rejected dispute with Telkom I have registered with a different DSL service provider, so I'm happy to say I no longer have to deal with Telkoms incompetence, but Telkom still owes me money for a service I was forced to pay as my account got suspended as a result of non payment few weeks ago. In order for me to use DSL with another service provider, I have to have a fully functional phone line, thus the reason for paying an amount of money that has been overdue on the account for more than a year & that was disputed on many occasions & on many platforms.

Fault 872CRK040416 was reported on 04/04/2016 and was resolved on the 18/04/2016, a total of 14 days of service interruption. The refund / credit that followed for the service we could not use for this fault was in order.

A few weeks later Fault 150BRK270516 was originally reported on 06/05/2016 & when it was passed as being resolved (when it fact it was not), I had to log the old fault as a new fault again on 27/05/2016 (almost a month later after the fault was originally reported). My full service was restored on 01/06/2016. This is a total of 27 days of not having any service at all. Telkom stands firm that I only had 5 days of service interruption, since the fault was only logged on 27/05/2016, which I was also credited for.

Apparently (on the invoice to follow), the credit I was given was also incorrect & I was overpaid, this being one of the reasons why my account was now in arrears & I owed them money. More troubling than this, after I was credited on the first invoice following the incident for an amount that actually covers a full months usage, I was charged double the usage fees on the 2nd invoice following the incident. How is this for being honest & transparent?

The whole way in which Telkom has dealt with this whole situation in a years time has made me loose complete confidence in their ability to be a honest, reputable & loyal service provider. I will however persue all means possible to me to recover all monies owed to me.
