Telkom refuses to install ADSL

<p>I am quiet irritate at the fact that after applying for an ADSL line and all the checks done, bought myself a router, Telkom a few days later tells me that they cannot do the adsl installation because of cable theft in the area. What BS, all my neighbours around me have ADSL, I currently have a landline and have had no interruption in service for the past 3 years and no news of cable theft in the arwea. Is telkoms technicans too lazy to do the installation that they give a pathetic excuse of cable theft. To make matters worse I called to follow up on the order and was told that another reason was that there is a shortage of ADSL splitters so the installation can only be done in the new financia;l year when new stock arrives. So whats the facts on my order? Laziness or lying to me of cable theft, or does Telkom have no budget for adsl splitters. Now whos is going to cover the cost of me buying a new router which is obviously useless to me now</p>
